Meet Cheri
Most days, you can find me with a good book, a cozy blanket, and a favorite pair of pajamas, settled near a window with a beautiful view. It is a simple reflection of who I have always been. Curious, creative, and drawn to the details that make an environment feel special.
I grew up surrounded by art, design, and creativity. My mother was an interior designer, and watching her work sparked my appreciation for color, texture, proportion, and the thoughtful details that transform a space and influence how people feel within it. That curiosity grew into a lifelong love of design, fashion, hospitality, and meaningful gatherings.
Before launching Cheri Denise Events, I spent more than 20 years in healthcare, where I developed expertise in leadership, communication, organization, relationship management, and creative problem-solving. Those years taught me how to lead people, navigate complexity, build trusted relationships, and remain composed when there are many moving pieces—skills that continue to shape how I serve my clients today.
My creative journey took a defining turn when I completed formal training in floral design and later taught master floral design courses for two years. I soon discovered that my fascination extended beyond flowers. I was captivated by how color, texture, table scapes, and thoughtful details could transform a space and shape an experience. That discovery expanded my creative vision and led me to establish Cheri Denise Events in 2009.
Today, I bring together my creative perspective, leadership experience, and passion for thoughtful design to produce sophisticated celebrations and experiences that feel personal to each client.
I believe the most memorable events are not simply beautiful. They are considered, meaningful, and unmistakably yours.

CDE designs an experience for the client and the guest from the beginning to the end. Designing events is one of my many passions--and perfectly designed event starts with ensuring the overall tone and theme is harmonious. Your event should tell your unique story with every detail. We offer our creativity when selecting your color palette, stationery, linens, table decor, floor plan, logistics and overall production of your event. We learn as much about our clients as possible to create the design concept. Asking the right questions during the course of our relationship provides me with the character of your personal brand that makes each client unique.
